The DC Student Sustainability Leadership Summit was created through a collaboration among American, George Washington, and Georgetown Universities, all members of the DC College & University Sustainability Pledge (DC CUSP). Through the powerful collaboration of these universities and colleges that exist within the District, the DC Student Sustainability Leadership Summit was born in Spring 2024. This biannual summit takes place once a semester at a different college or university in the District. The summit aims to bring together DC students who are interested and passionate about sustainability to network, share information, and fellowship with one another.
The summit is a casual gathering of students. Expect free food, student-led presentations and discussion, and a optional campus sustainability tour at the respective host campus of the summit
