The Hoya Green Teaching Program

The Hoya Green Teaching Program is a commitment-based program awarded by the Office of Sustainability. With this recognition, a professor commits their course to ten or more sustainability practices across the three categories to be deemed a Hoya Green Course. Hoya Green Teaching Program aligns with the university’s commitment to a more sustainable future, embodying the actions of waste reduction, energy conservation, and efficiency, and creating a sustainable culture across Georgetown.
